The Productivity and Innovation Centre (PIC) will be the place where industry comes to solve problems and to succeed. The centre will provide comprehensive industry services, enabling industry to become more competitive and sustainable through improved technology utilization, enhanced productivity and industry-driven applied research. The centre will support the development and implementation of new products and processes that address challenges faced by industry and individual companies.

Construction on the new Jasper Place Transit Centre in Edmonton has started supporting the City’s vision for growth and enhanced passenger experience. Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) sees upwards of 400,000 riders per day, and is an important way for Edmontonians to connect. The new facility will have bright, comfortable waiting areas designed to accommodate more people. The old brick building on the northwest corner of the transit centre is to be demolished and a new, smaller facility will take its place and will feature integrated landscaping, bike parking, and seating.
