The 2019 U Sports football season is well underway across campuses coast to coast! Did you know that GEC helped design the David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC), the McMaster University Marauders’ high performance training facility in Hamilton? GEC (in association with Garwood-Jones & Hanham Architects) worked collaboratively the University Facilities group and the McMaster Student Union to create the DBAC, which parallels the Ron Joyce football stadium and features a 1,200 retractable seat competition gymnasium, running and sprint tracks, racquet courts, sports medicine facilities, a high performance fitness assessment lab and a climbing wall.
