Transforming the retail experience.

The revitalization of Country Hills Village modernized the centre, creating a more welcoming environment and improving the retail experience. Originally the shopping centre was an aged vehicle-centric strip mall. Our design concept centred on the experience and the perspective of the shopper and led to major changes that focused the materials, signage and circulation on the pedestrian rather than the vehicle. We carefully considered material choice and constructibility through the design phase to maximize impact while keeping costs on budget.

The simple and clean expression of the retail redevelopment is efficient and stylish, representing a thorough transformation aimed at making the space more appealing to customers and enriching their shopping experience. In addition, tenants are building patios throughout the shopping centre to take advantage of the new pedestrian-oriented design.
