    Gary Mundy

Gary has been practising architecture since 1996, designing multi-use, sustainable urban environments. His designs result in transformative urban projects including transportation systems, multi-family housing, single-family housing, commercial and retail buildings, fire stations, assembly buildings, historic re-use, restaurant, and office buildings. Since joining GEC, Gary has played a leading role in every urban transportation project the firm has participated in and has created some of Canada’s most iconic pedestrian realms such as the 7th Avenue LRT Corridor in downtown Calgary. Virtually all of Gary’s work is focused on sustainable urban integration – the creation, and integration, of people, buildings, transportation systems, and amenities with the urban fabric of cities. Gary has also been a Sessional Instructor with the University of Calgary Faculty of Environmental Design since 2004.
