The New Brighton Athletic Park is an active community amenity and destination for all of Calgary, providing much-needed sport infrastructure in the city’s southeast.

The park pavilion plays an integral role in the successful operation of the park; it acts as the entry to the park separating the public parking lot and the active sport fields, provides change rooms and washrooms, houses the maintenance equipment, and creates a sense of identity for the park. The pavilion sensitively integrates into the environment connecting to the regional pathway and character of the community, creating a destination and hub of activity in one of Calgary’s suburbs.
