Jennifer is an Associate and Contract Administrator at GEC, bringing more than two decades of experience guiding projects from tender through to completion across Alberta. With a diploma in Architectural Technologies from SAIT, she’s spent over eight years at GEC ensuring that what’s designed on paper is faithfully delivered on-site through detailed oversight, strong relationships, and a steady commitment to quality.
Jennifer’s role centres on bridging the transition between design and construction, advocating for clear communication and informed decisions throughout the build process. Whether on-site troubleshooting or in the office mentoring junior staff, she’s committed to quality, clear communication, and seeing things through. Her attention to detail doesn’t change with project size; every effort is met with the same care and precision.
Jennifer finds particular satisfaction in the moments when a project reaches occupancy or, as in the case of the Cochrane Transit Hub, when a thoughtful execution is recognized with a design award. She thrives on collaboration, preferring open dialogue with clients, consultants, and contractors to keep projects moving forward.
Outside of work, Jennifer finds calm in her garden, joy in the outdoors, and a bit of thrill in winter sports. She was a competitive golfer for much of her life and enjoys anything that challenges her to think critically, whether it’s a puzzle, a map, or a bit of obscure trivia. And while she’s rooted in her work, she dreams often of travel, and might just be a professional wanderer in another life.
