Tim is a Senior Contract Administrator at GEC, bringing over 25 years of experience guiding complex projects from concept to construction. A graduate of the Architectural Technology program at SAIT (with honours) and a Certified Technician (C.Tech.), Tim is known for his deep technical expertise, unwavering standards, and steady leadership.
Since rejoining GEC in 2004 (after an earlier stint right out of school), Tim has helped shape not just projects, but the systems and processes that support them. From project structure and filing standards to how information flows across teams, Tim has had a hand in much of what keeps things running smoothly, even if most people don’t realize it.
Tim’s portfolio spans sports and recreation facilities, transportation infrastructure (air, rail, and transit), wastewater treatment plants, and schools at every level—from elementary to post-secondary across Alberta. His work ensures that what’s built aligns with the architect’s vision and meets the client’s expectations. He’s there to resolve issues as they arise, clarify details, and ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
With Tim on board, ambiguity doesn’t stand a chance. He’s known for his clarity, precision, and ability to translate gray areas into practical solutions. His teammates value his thoroughness, depth of knowledge, and the calm, focused way he helps projects navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys of construction.
Born and raised in Calgary (a third-generation Calgarian), Tim has always been drawn to what architecture brings to the public realm—how it looks, how it functions, and how people experience it. Outside of work, you might find him tracking cars at the raceway or staying true to his lifelong passion for motorsport. Tim’s happiest when he’s on time, solving problems, and helping bring complex buildings to life—always with the bigger picture in mind.
