The Sunalta Station provides LRT access to this growing SW community. The elevated station is designed to be approximately 15 metres above grade and provides pedestrian access from 10th Avenue via 16th Street, and 9th Avenue SW via a pedestrian bridge that crosses over CP rail lines.

Passenger safety, movement and comfort are accommodated by clear sightlines; the station’s platform “tube” that functions to shield patrons from the north winter wind while providing shade from the south sun; a heated shelter within the station’s head lobby area; and a pedestrian bridge that is accessible, on both the upper and lower levels, by elevators, escalators, and stairs.
