Wild Rose Brewery
Client Wild Rose Brewery | Location Calgary, AB | Size 3,695 m2 | Completion 2013
Understanding the brewing process helped make this facility a success.
Wild Rose Brewery saw unprecedented growth and needed a larger brewery to keep up with production and distribution. The new facility was designed with the brewing process and beer delivery in mind; the first stage involved the flow of grain from silos outside the building into a milling facility and into a brewhouse.
Product was then transferred to fermentation tanks prior to bottling and packaging. Packaged beer would then be transported into a temperature controlled storage area that has direct access to the building exterior for shipping. By ensuring that we fully understood the production process, GEC was able to develop a floor plan that minimized wasted space and increased output and productivity.
